(More customer reviews)I bought these at a health food store. I thought they would be crispy like chips, but instead they are chewy like a fruit roll up. The sesame oil adds a really nice flavor and I like that they are lightly salted. I spread cream cheese on half of a seaweed sheet and fold it in half, press together and eat. They are delicious that way (and low carb). I imagine that hummus, yogurt cheese, a piece of lox, or nut butters would be delicious on these things too.
The best thing about these snacks is that they are really filling. I drink water while I eat these and I think the seaweed absorbs the water in my stomach. After about ten minutes (and 10 pieces of seaweed), I get really full, as if I'd eaten a full meal. I actually had to skip dinner because I ate these in the afternoon and was not hungry again for the rest of the night. So keep that in mind if you let your kids eat them before dinner. Although keep in mind that they start off tasting crispy, but once you start to chew them they get chewy like a fruit roll up. Therefore I wouldn't let a very young child eat these. But they are very filling and great for dieters.
