I can tolerate the taste but wish it tasted a little more sweet. I know this is diffult for a diabetic diet but just thought I'd mention it.

As a diabetic I have found that all of the bars that I have tried by granola gourmet have not spiked my blood sugar, so it really makes me feel really comfortable and satisfied at the same time.

(More customer reviews)I bought these at a health food store. I thought they would be crispy like chips, but instead they are chewy like a fruit roll up. The sesame oil adds a really nice flavor and I like that they are lightly salted. I spread cream cheese on half of a seaweed sheet and fold it in half, press together and eat. They are delicious that way (and low carb). I imagine that hummus, yogurt cheese, a piece of lox, or nut butters would be delicious on these things too.
The best thing about these snacks is that they are really filling. I drink water while I eat these and I think the seaweed absorbs the water in my stomach. After about ten minutes (and 10 pieces of seaweed), I get really full, as if I'd eaten a full meal. I actually had to skip dinner because I ate these in the afternoon and was not hungry again for the rest of the night. So keep that in mind if you let your kids eat them before dinner. Although keep in mind that they start off tasting crispy, but once you start to chew them they get chewy like a fruit roll up. Therefore I wouldn't let a very young child eat these. But they are very filling and great for dieters.

I was given a sample of Granola Gourmet at my local Whole Foods, and I was instantly hooked. These are simply THE BEST granola bars I have ever had.
Moist, flavorful, and remarkably filling, I'm totally hooked on them! The Spiced Orange Cranberry and [[ASIN:B002AJ1S1E Granola Gourmet Very Berry Granola Bars, 10-Count Bars
(Pack of 2)]] are my favorites, and my wife loves the Granola Gourmet Chocolate Espresso Granola Bars, 10-Count Bars (Pack of 2).
The fact that they are diabetic-friendly makes them even better! A friend of ours gave up wheat, dairy, and refined sugar for Lent, and was having a hard time of it. I gave him a couple of my Granola Gourmet bars, and he was hooked! Lent is long since over, and he's still eating them every week.

(More customer reviews)I hate snack bars, but I eat them from time to time, because I have systemic lupus and need to take some of my meds with food. I'm not a refined sugar eater, so I stick to the sugar free bars. These are actually pretty tasty. They suffer from the "mystery bits" one finds in all soft cereal/snack bars - those soggy things that are supposed to represent, what, the cereal? The texture is no better or worse than any other similar product. But the flavor is really good. I don't taste the splenda (which I don't like, usually). I just taste dark chocolate and blueberries. Very edible in a pinch.
