Cascadian Farms changed the formulation so that now, per serving (30g, same as before), it has 33% more sugar (8g now instead of 6g), 40% less fiber (3g instead of 5g) and 10% more calories (110 instead of 100). It used to have a consistency and taste like AlphaBits but is now much sweeter and brighter colored; it used to be like Alphabits but now its more yellow and has a kind of sheen to it. The stats you are seeing in the other reviews are not accurate anymore.
Myself and other Weight Watchers members loved this cereal because you could get a full cup for 1 point. Now it is 2 points per cup serving.
I realize that this is a childrens cereal, but it actually was a perfect adult cereal. Not too sweet but sweet enough, and low calorie/high fiber for a good sized serving. Especially considering it's a childrens cereal, it's disappointing that they would change the stats on it so dramatically in such an unhealthy direction. It's not a good message to kids that they should be eating even sweeter food than they were already.
