This granola/cereal is great. I have many allergies and I never get sick no matter how much of this I eat. The new formula is crunchy in a nicer way unlike the old formula could have broken a tooth. (There were uncooked rice grains in there like little stones.) I add splenda and a little more cinnamon and cover it in skim milk, then heat it up in the microwave. It's thickens like oatmeal and it's very tasty that way! Also good in yogurt.

Earth's Best Organic Tots Cereal Bars, Strawberry Banana, 5.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Review

Earth's Best Organic Tots Cereal Bars, Strawberry Banana, 5.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)
Average Reviews:

My child loved these bars for a while but then got burned out on them. They are a bit sweet and I didn't realize that until I tried to eat one to get rid of the last few. It was my mistake to buy so many before tasting them myself, so I hope other people try them out first. It did serve as a healthier snack for my child for several months so I am grateful for the product.
The expiration date is a great indication that they are all natural and do not have a bunch of preservatives in them, so I threw the leftovers in the compost.

Average Reviews:

First of all these things taste delicious. They really taste like there is milk in your cereal. When in the office I have one every day for breakfast. I do a lot of coast to coast air travel and I never leave home without a couple of Cheerio's Milk 'n cereal bars in my carry on bag. They're life savers when you're stuck in the airport or on a long flight, since the airlines have cut down on their snack service. My local Safeway never has them, so I've started ordering them by the case from Amazon. I wish I would of thought of this long ago!! P.S. The servings are larger than the average snack bar, and I've proven they stay fresh, even when left in my bag, during a coast to coast to coast round trip!

These fudge dipped delights have worked their way into being one of my family's favotite snack foods. Far from being your typical thin and bland granola bar, these bars are thick and tasty, and sure to fill your early more tummy, or your late night sugar craving. A "must try" products. I have never truly like any other granola bar, but have eaten literally hundreds of these. Yum.

Cascadian Farm: Cinnamon Raisin Granola, 17 Oz Pack of 4 Review

Cascadian Farm: Cinnamon Raisin Granola, 17 Oz Pack of 4
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Okay, I admit it ... I'm a child of the sixties, and Granola was just about our national foodstuff. But not long after, with marriage, children, and the usual adult responsibilities, the granola faded into distant memory, along with the gypsy skirts, beads, and peace symbols. Instead, we had Frosted Flakes, Trix and other popular brands.
In my 20s I developed celiac disease, so anything made from wheat, barley rye or oats was totally off limits. Gluten-free products are frightfully expensive, so cereal for me was out of the question. Imagine my suprise when the Canadian Medical Association, a few years ago, okay'd OATS for people with celiac disease. Following that, so did the British, Australian, and New Zealand Medical Associations. (N.B. The American Medical Association has not yet approved oats for celiac patients, but I can attest to experiencing absolutely no difficulties with dietary oats. Be sure to check with your physician.)
Earlier this year, mindful that the Brits declared it safe, I began looking for a purely oat product -- i.e., one not laced with wheat.
And what do you know? There, on the shelf next to the Quaker Oats was good old-fashioned granola. Now not every granola is 'pure' in an oat or oat/rice combination. Sometimes there is added barley, MSG, or even the ubiquitous 'moderated food starch' ... but Cascadian Farms Cinnamon Raisin Granola seemed to be, at least from the ingredients perspective, a good possibility.
I tried it immediately. The result? ... I've become an addict, plain and simple. This granola is satisfyingly crunchy, and it's toasted to the perfect degree, neither too light nor too dark. The flavors of the oats 'n rice, along with the molasses and cinnamon, is outstanding. Everyone in our household loves it... adults, kids, and even the cats. As an extra benefit, it's certified organic.
There is one anomaly I want to make note of, one that I consider amusing rather than annoying. I use Amazon's wonderful subscription service and receive 6 boxes of the product every month (there's a 15% price discount with this service and NO SHIPPING CHARGE, so be sure to check it out). In opening box after box of this cereal, I have found that occasionally some packages contain overly large amounts of raisins, while others have, quite literally, only 2 or 3 raisins in the entire 17oz. box. This isn't a problem for me, because we always have raisins on hand and I can just add some if I choose to. Many times I don't, simply because the cereal stands so well on its own. I don't think this unevenness is a serious thing, but I did want to alert you.
I'd be lost without this cereal... it has truly become a staple for me. Later on I'm going to sample their Honey Oat cereal, too, and I expect it to be every bit the equal in taste and quality of the Cinnamon Raisin variety.
Please, by all means, try this brand ... and try out Amazon's great subscription service as well. You won't be disappointed -- I promise!

Excellent source whole grain. USDA organic. Pomegranates: a healthful gift from the gods. Pomegranates have been prized since antiquity for their delicious, piquant flavor and for health-giving properties that are legendary. This fruit appears in Greek mythology as having been planted on the island of Cyprus by Aphrodite, the goddess of love; it is associated with procreation and abundance. it was grown in the ancient city of Samarkand, a central point on the Silk Road, and spread along trading routes from Iran to the Indian Himalayas. On desert caravans, it was valued for its thirst-quenching, cooling, and nourishing juice. The pomegranate is referred to in Spanish as Granada and appears on the coat of arms of the city of the same name. Pomegranates and modern nutritional science. Back To Nature Oat Vanilla Almond Agave Granola, 12-Ounce (Pack of3) Review

Back To Nature Oat Vanilla Almond Agave Granola, 12-Ounce (Pack of3)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I will admit up front that I have a sweet tooth... so it may be no surprise that I found this granola to be on the bland side. But I don't know if it was lacking in sweetness so much as lacking in any flavor at all. My first impression (and I'm sure people will downvote me for this, but whatever) was that it tasted like cardboard. Then I realized that, no, it just tasted like bland clusters of oats with scarcely a hint of vanilla and only the occasional almond sliver. This was very disappointing to me, because vanilla and almond are two flavors I'm very enthusiastic about.
The fiber content is probably this granola's strongest suit, and I can see myself buying it just on that basis.
Vegans beware: this product contains whey!
Also, buyers should know that Back To Nature is a subsidiary of Kraft Foods.

Bear Naked All Natural Granola, Peak Protein, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) Review

Bear Naked All Natural Granola, Peak Protein, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Absolutely! It is by far the nicest tasting granola I have ever had. It is not the same texture as most granola. It isn't extremely hard and crunchy. It is a bit softer in texture, but this doesn't mean that it sops up milk like a sponge if you choose to eat it more like a cereal. It remains the same lovely texture, not too hard, and definitely not mushy.
As for its flavour, it's a bit nutty tasting. The cranberries in it are a splendid bit of tart-sweetness, and the sunflower seeds are gorgeous as well. I generally mix a bit of Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola in with my Crispix. It's a scrummy touch to the Crispix, and makes the 12 ounce bag of Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola last a lot longer. (I tend to have this for breakfast and at least one snack a day.)
I give Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola five stars for its taste, texture, and nutrition.

Chewy, tasty and healthy. What more can you want in a gluten free granola bar? The flavor is very subtle pumpkin, so don't think thanksgiving pie. It is my daily breakfast with tea and I havene't tired of it for some time. Thankfully to me, it does not have coconut, which makes it unusual in a granola bar, so it's definitely 5 stars! Their cranberry-ginger is also good, but does have the coconut thing, so not the top of my list. Enjoy!

Chex Mix Bar, Chocolate Chunk, 6 Count, 7.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
Average Reviews:

I'm a recovering chocoholic and had the high cholesterol to prove it! Years ago in my early 20s I used to annihilate candy bars as if it was my duty to rid the planet of them (Twix, Snickers, M&Ms, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Whatchamacallit, etc.); having 3-4 candy bars in a row was not uncommon for me!
Now I'm smarter about surrounding myself with healthier alternatives. While these are not comparable to candy bars, they do have 1/10 the saturated fat and have a great chocolate taste that sets off the chocolate alarm bells in my head (recovering chocoholic means I'm not cured yet!).
As with many low-fat foods, they have a decent amount of sugar and triglycerides, so these need to be eaten in moderation as well. Could I eat the whole box in a day? Sure. Would I? Well... I try not to!
(btw, I'm 6'3, 195 lbs so I'm not overweight despite my past and sometimes current transgressions)
