(More customer reviews)I have eaten a number of prepared raw snacks, and this one is my favorite. It is much less sweet than any of the others, which I like. The primary ingredients are sprouted seeds, which are sweet and delicious enough for me alone, plus some date, agave and Celtic sea salt for enhancing the flavor. One bar lasts me a long time as I chew it slowly to savor all of the goodness.
I am especially delighted that it is 100% certified organic. I am further delighted that the package includes a statement, "With our new solar production facility in development and our eventual transition towards biodegradable packaging, we are looking forward to becoming an entirely sustainable operation." I hope these projects proceed smoothly!

There are quite a few varieties that Freeland makes, but this one is our family's favorite, mostly because of the sprouted buckwheat groats. They are high in protein (8 grams!) and very tasty. Perfect for me while I was pregnant and still great now that I am a nursing mom. Buying them from Amazon garners a big savings as these are pricey for a granola bar.

All three flavors are spectacular but I chose the apple-cinnamon because I want to get my 3-year old nephews into raw foods and figured they'd like this flavor best. chlorella, spirulina, barley grass and more...and best of all, no nuts!
