(More customer reviews)I have tried most of the flavors Except for the new MOCHA and these are great tasting (fiber) Bars. Every once in a while you will get one that is hard as a rock, I guess the package wasn't sealed all the way.
The last thing I will say is that these are $2.59 at Target and will usually have them on sale for less. So as far as amazon is concerned this is not a fantastic deal.

(More customer reviews)I have been a fan of Nature Valley granola bars for years. They come in many varieties. My favorites lately have been the Pecan Crunch and Peanut Butter bars. So, I was pleased to learn that Amazon now offers the bars in their many different types.
Certainly, Oats and Honey are a classic combination. Oats go way back. Samuel Johnson included a definition of oats in his 1755 Dictionary of the English Language. I have adapted liberally from his definition for my title. Actually, Samuel Johnson said: "Oats: A grain, which in England is generally given to horses, but in Scotland appears to support the people." Little did he know that two and a half centuries later, England's colonial offspring would enthusiastically endorse oats as a food for people.
Earlier this month, I spent a week skiing in Colorado at Vail, The ticket counters were equipped with baskets of the Oats and Honey bars provided free of charge. It was a nice gesture considering the almost $100 daily ticket price. The granola bars pack nearly 100 calories for a single bar, and obviously double that for a two-bar pack.
I took the Oats bars with me skiing, but I also depend on them for hiking. An extra 200 calories is what you may need to give you enough energy to get up the last 200 feet to a mountain summit. The taste is good. They do not melt. If you get tired of the Oats, there is always a choice: Pecan, Almond, or Peanut Butter, to provide variety.

For people with a sweet tooth like me, these are a great alternative to other chocolate, candy, and less healthy snack bars. Sure, there are plenty of things out there that are better for you, but I've yet to find any that taste like this.
These bars are great, but the Kellogg's FiberPlus Bars, Dark Chocolate Almond, 5 Bars, 6.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) are even better!

I definitely recommend them for people who care about what they put into their bodies but also want snacks that taste good. These are basically like soft yet crunchy oatmeal cookies with extra fruit and nuts in them.. so tasty! You will have to be careful though, they are definitely addictive!

Then I tried one, and was puzzled. Yes, I could taste some almond, but WOW, the main flavor was PEANUTS. The ingredients list peanuts as the largest amount of nuts. This should be called the Peanut, Almond Bar. If one likes to have the main flavor of a nut bar as peanuts, you will enjoy this.
The quality of KIND products I appreciate, as well as the low GI, the natural properties, and having a healthier choice. But honesty in advertising and product would be appreciated.
I was disappointed with the deception, and the unexpectedly strong flavor of peanuts, as I purchased it for the nuts I like best, which were supposed to be the main source of nut protein.

(More customer reviews)Absolutely! It is by far the nicest tasting granola I have ever had. It is not the same texture as most granola. It isn't extremely hard and crunchy. It is a bit softer in texture, but this doesn't mean that it sops up milk like a sponge if you choose to eat it more like a cereal. It remains the same lovely texture, not too hard, and definitely not mushy.
As for its flavour, it's a bit nutty tasting. The cranberries in it are a splendid bit of tart-sweetness, and the sunflower seeds are gorgeous as well. I generally mix a bit of Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola in with my Crispix. It's a scrummy touch to the Crispix, and makes the 12 ounce bag of Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola last a lot longer. (I tend to have this for breakfast and at least one snack a day.)
I give Bear Naked Peak Protein All Natural Granola five stars for its taste, texture, and nutrition.

The only problem with this is that even in bulk Amazon is expensive. When they are on sale it's usually 2 dollars per box so the equivalent quantity to what they offer here is 12 boxes which would be 24 dollars. Amazon is selling it for 33 dollars.

(More customer reviews)My wife buys these Fiber One bars and I started eating one per day because they taste really good (almost like a candy bar) and I assumed they were healthy since they are from Fiber 1 and have 35% of your daily fiber. In fact, I had been eating at least a couple a week for over a year now. After having some gastrointestinal issues, I checked the box of the fiber 1 bars and I was surprised to find that the first ingredient was something I'd never heard of before: "chicory root." I've read a lot about chicory root and I'm skeptical about the healthiness of these bars due to my research and my own observations having been a long time consumer. Here are my observations:
Pros:
-Good Taste
Cons:
-Will give you bad gas if consumed regularly or in large quantities. Goes away after not consuming the bars for a few days
-Has quite a few calories and sugars. It tastes like a candy bar because it almost is a candy bar.
-I periodically had painful BMs and blood in my stools when I ate these regularly. I couldn't figure out what was causing it. I attributed it to marathon training for a long time but after taking these out of my diet the problem has not returned.
-I feel a little leaner and stronger having taken these out of my diet. It could just be the drop in caloric intake.This leads me to believe that these bars probably do more harm than good to the digestive system and the body in general. It makes me sad because I really like the taste but I've got to stop eating these. I suggest doing some research on these bars and chicory root before you think about eating these regularly.

(More customer reviews)I have had all three of the Fiber One Bars (oats & chocolate, oats & peanut butter, and oats & caramel). I didn't really care for the oats & chocolate, but I like the oats & peanut butter a lot. It tastes very good with a nice mellow peanut butter flavor. Even my young boys (6 and 3) like it. As good as oats & peanut butter is, though, the caramel is 10 times better. It tastes like a candy bar. Obviously, it has a firm texture, but it's not dry by any stretch. It makes a great breakfast or part of a breakfast that can stick with you for a few hours. It can also serve as a very satisfying snack. I will confess that, since my supply of these bars has been limited, I haven't had my kids try them yet. But, now that I have been finally able to order these from Amazon, I will definitely let them try this new flavor.
