This granola/cereal is great. I have many allergies and I never get sick no matter how much of this I eat. The new formula is crunchy in a nicer way unlike the old formula could have broken a tooth. (There were uncooked rice grains in there like little stones.) I add splenda and a little more cinnamon and cover it in skim milk, then heat it up in the microwave. It's thickens like oatmeal and it's very tasty that way! Also good in yogurt.

Enjoy Life Very Berry Chewy On The Go Bars, Gluten, Dairy and Nut Free, 5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

This product must qualify for some sort of deceptive packaging award. The box only contains 5 bars and the wrappers are smaller than normal, so at least 50% of the interior of the box is air. Then when you unwrap the bar you find they are only about 60% the length of a "normal" snack bar. The rest of it is empty air inside the wrapper. If they were to not include wrappers those 5 bars would occupy less than 25% of the space inside the box.
As far as taste goes they are so-so. On the dry side with a hint of berry flavor. Celiacs, who are used to inferior products, won't be disappointed in the taste of this one.
I've also had their cookies and they suffer from the same sort of deceptive packaging. The picture on the side of the box shows what most of us would consider a normal sized cookie. But when you open the box you find that it mostly contains a plastic tray holding cookies about the size of a quarter.
I really want to like this company. They seem to be trying hard and coming out with new products and keeping allergens out of the production process. That is why I've continued to try their products. I bought their granola many times, always wanting to like it, but it is some of the worst food I've ever had. The "clusters" are hard as the partially popped kernels at the bottom of your bag of popcorn and more fitting for gerbils than people.
All in all I would not recommend Enjoy Life foods.

The grandchildren really like them and so do the adults. The bars are great snacks and healthy. They have a touch of sweetness and you can't go wrong with pecans. They make a good after school snack with a glass of milk.

This was very good. We purchased a box of Flax Right Harvest Spice Crunchy Granola Bars at our local Harris Teeter. I really like the flavor of the bar - it is sweet with "a subtle blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice" and reminds me of Fall. The crunch and texture remind me of Nature Valley Oats 'N Honey Crunchy Granola Bars. Very good. I will be purchasing these again.

Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch Granola Bars, Peanut Crunch, 6-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) Review

Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch Granola Bars, Peanut Crunch, 6-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently tried both the Peanut and Almond varieties of the Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch. These bars are amazing! Imagine the flavor and crunch of brittle, but with just enough of the syrup to hold the nuts together. Also the nuts are a little salty, so the contrast is nice. This bar is all nuts. With just 7 and 6 grams of sugar respectively per bar, the 7 grams of protein and 2g of fiber are really attractive.
My daughter likes these as a snack before swimming because they give her an energy boost. I like the fact that they are more nutritionally balanced than most snack foods. They tend to crumble when you eat them, so eating them in bar form can be a challenge. I break them before I open the package, and pop the pieces in my mouth. Either way, they make a great snack.

Average Reviews:

As someone with many food sensitivities and allergies, I am excited when I can find a gluten-free, low calorie snack. These rice bars are healthy and full of flavor. In the typical grocery store, this product is fairly expensive. Fortunately, the Amazon subscription program offers excellent pricing on this item.

EnviroKidz organic penguin fruity burst crispy rice bars are truly delicious gelatin-free bars with a taste of marshmallows and studded with colorful fruity bits--enjoy the burst of fruity flavor in every bite. Be sure, you will not have to lower your expectations even if you are eating a gluten-free, wheat-free snack bar. You do not have to settle for ordinary or tasteless gluten-free bars when Nature's Path offers so much more--a pinch of this, a dash of that, but never anything artificial. This product contains no artificial additives, preservatives, or colors. Moreover, the USDA organic certification on this product means that the ingredients are grown without synthetic herbicides, pesticides, and nasty chemicals. It is a sacrifice-free way of enjoying a healthy delicious snack.

Whole Grain Goodness for EveryoneThe specialty of Nature's Path is, and has always been, everything "whole grain". If you decide to go "gluten free" then there is no healthier option than organic gluten free--products that are not only gluten free but also free of other things that can compromise health. Add to that, Non-GMO Project verified for an extra assurance when it comes to food safety.

Nature's Path uses gluten-free grains such as buckwheat, quinoa, millet, sorghum, amaranth, brown rice, flax, teff, and whole grain corn.

Amaranth: Long considered a native crop in Peru, amaranth was a major food crop of the ancient Aztecs and played a part in their religious practices as well. Amaranth is gluten free, high in protein, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium. It is the only grain that also contains vitamin C.

Brown Rice: Naturally gluten free, whole-grain rice is usually brown but can also be black, purple, or even red. It is one of the most easily digested grains and though it is lower in fiber, it is still rich in many other nutrients.

Buckwheat: It is not technically a grain at all and not any kind of wheat, but rather, a cousin of rhubarb! It is the only grain to have high levels of an antioxidant called rutin and of course, it is gluten free too.

Whole Grain Corn: While it's true that corn may be familiar, don't overlook it when it comes to antioxidants. Corn has the highest levels of antioxidants of any grain or vegetable!

Quinoa: It is another "grain" that is not quite a grain. Quinoa is actually a relative of Swiss chard and beets. This gluten free grain was a favorite of the Incas. It comes from South America and is a small, light colored grain that looks a bit like sesame seeds. It is a complete protein, delivering all the essential amino acids our bodies need.

Sorghum: This hearty gluten free grain from Africa thrives where other grains would wither and die. It can be eaten like popcorn, cooked into porridge, or made into flour. It is very popular with people who have gluten issues.

Teff: This is a tiny grain that comes from Africa--it is 1/150th the size of a wheat kernel. The fact that "teff" comes from the word "teffa" meaning "lost" starts to make sense. Teff has a sweet, molasses-like taste and can be used for baked goods, porridge, or "teff polenta". It is high in iron and calcium.
About Nature's PathFor over 25 years, Nature's Path has been mastering the art of whole grain baking with cereals, snacks, and waffles that are loaded with whole grain nutrition and wholesome goodness. They bake cereals with basic gluten containing grains used in typical manufacturing such as barley, rye, and oats. Out of the 128 innovative products that Nature's Path makes twenty percent are certified gluten free--and many of these products are also whole grain.

Organic is HealthierOrganic makes much less impact on the Earth as no synthetic pesticides fertilizers or antibiotics are used and no chemicals are added to the food afterwards. It means less pollution in your world and in your bowl. Organic goes further towards giving you what nature intended--clean, pure, and real food.

Chewy, tasty and healthy. What more can you want in a gluten free granola bar? The flavor is very subtle pumpkin, so don't think thanksgiving pie. It is my daily breakfast with tea and I havene't tired of it for some time. Thankfully to me, it does not have coconut, which makes it unusual in a granola bar, so it's definitely 5 stars! Their cranberry-ginger is also good, but does have the coconut thing, so not the top of my list. Enjoy!

Average Reviews:

There are a million different snack bars out there. The ones from Divinely D'lish are unique and in a class by themselves. I discovered them at the farmer's market in the Ferry Building in San Francisco. One taste and I was hooked for life.
Since then, they have found their way into local shops here on the peninsula in the Bay Area. But now that they are available online at Amazon, anyone anywhere can enjoy them.
The ingredient list is simple, straightforward, healthy and impressive. No GMO, no trans fats, unsulphered dried fruit, an emphasis on organic. They look like someone took tons of different kinds of grains (but they're wheat-free), seeds and nuts and mashed them together with dates, raisins, syrup, coconut. You can see every seed - nothing is pulverized and there's no flour filler. They're soft, but the nuts and seeds give them an oh-so-satisfying crunch.
I heat them up very slightly and they taste like the most heavenly fresh baked cookies imaginable. My husband's favorite is the Cheeky Cherry Chocolate but since I try and steer clear of chocolate, my favorite is the Haute Diggity Date. He packs them on long business trips to help him over jet lag. I pack them as gifts for my east coast friends instead of the See's candy I used to bring. People seem to really appreciate something good to eat they don't have to feel guilty about.
The only negative - and it's a big one - is it's almost impossible to exercise moderation with these things. Even if you can buy them locally here in the Bay Area, you might as well buy them online by the box. They'll be gone in a flash.

This would be a fabulous chocolate bar even if it were not gluten-free and dairy-free. It definitely is the best tasting GF/DF candy we have found. Too bad the price is so high. Or maybe that's a good thing for keeping my consumption lower. I'm finding the Amazon-posted price today even higher than what we pay at our local Whole Foods. I watch for sales.

These bars WERE my most favorite snack in the universe, until they re-formulated them to be "sunny hemp" bars. Now, they are much smaller in size, taste different, and have more calories!! I was so upset about it that I wrote to Nature's Path directly to complain. I was told that they reformulated most of their bars, based on customer feedback, yada yada. Well, my feedback is that the new bars are INFERIOR to the recipe that I've loved for so long!!!
